Lost a la Mc Cain

now moby thanks for tagging me however, i fail to comprehend why would one want to have 8 homes in one country? but i guess, speaking of U.S and its 50 something states.. quite logical..8 in Pakistan is a bit difficult, for me the one in lahore is more than i could ask for, just love the city. khair still i have made an effort to rack ma brain for this post,so here goes:

THE RULES:

The McCains own 13 cars, eight homes and have access to a corporate jet. If you were as insanely rich as them, where would your eight homes be and why?

The only rule is: The homes must be within the borders of the country you live in, so as to utterly emulate the McCains.

When you’re done, tag 8 people, so that they may join in the self-indulgence, forgetting about the crappy property market and the equivalent of The End of Pompeii on Wall-Street. You could spend your time hammering your doors and windows shut in preparation for the Apocalypse, but this meme is so much more fun!

1. Lahore-like i said, its ma favourite place on earth. when i say or hear the word home, Lahore is what comes in my mind. so i have to have one home in Lahore, it kind of goes without saying.

2. a penthouse- now i have always had this dream to live in a penthouse which offers me the view of the entire city and that too Lahore.. ahhhh.. my dream home!!

3. a cothi i.e. the typical old fashioned homes we find all over Pakistan. i am a sucker for this kind old architecture, just love the elaborate designs of the walls, the arches etc. i relish the idea that it has a history...

4. kalaam- now this is a place which is very close to my heart, have a lot of memories of my childhood associated with it. we used to go there in summers...this was the first hill station of Pakistan that i visited. i can still see the picturesque view by just closing my eyes and can still hear the roaring sounds of river kalam.. breaks my heart when i think of all the fighting going on there...

5. mardan- now this is again a place which i really have very fond memories of, my grandfather used to live there and we used to visit him every summers... gosh..i miss going back there, now that he lives with us in Lahore..

6. a farmhouse- id love to live in a farmhouse.. preferably near Lahore..it would be nice to escape the noise of the city besides id love to indulge in my favourite sport which is horse riding!!

7. on a beach- what a delightful pleasure it would be to wake up to the noises of the ocean and to be greeted by the sight of a white beach and crystal clear blue water.. wow... a pity i cant find white sandy beaches in Pakistan, so in that case ill just have to do with Karachi..

8. Islamabad- only because its the cleanest city of Pakistan n me being a clean city freak!!!

i loveeeee lahore its my synonym of home. i love it even with its broken, garbage laden roads, dirty polluted air, open sewers, 24 7 traffic... load shedding illiterate ppl each n every thing about it so i wouldn't mind having a penthouse here in ma beloved city!!
